First off, I was thrilled to find Epic open on New Year’s Day especially since I was relatively confident that my 11 yr old Pom had dislocated his hip. From my initial phone call, the tone was set, as they were super friendly and welcoming. I arrived and filled out my intake paperwork, where everything was explained to me upfront & then Marcus took us back for Simba’s intake. He was kind & polite & made sure to ask about Simba’s vaccine/medical history & he promised to take good care of my baby as he took him to see the Veterinarian. Even though it was an acute visit, I felt like my Simba would be well cared for. Now onto the Dr. Christoff Saaiman- He was an absolute dream! He was extremely patient (even though there were several other animals there and it was clear he was very busy) he took the time to explain all my options to me & he was considerate and thorough with Simba’s care. He explained the rationale behind every recommendation he made before doing it, ensuring I was comfortable with each step of his care plan. He even offered follow-on advice to me to ensure the best possible outcome. Suffice it to say, I am now wondering if they also offer routine Veterinary care because as much as I love my current Vet, I would be very confident bringing any of my babies back here for care.
