We took our kitty into our normal vet and she was diagnosed with pyometra, the vet we went to recommended she needed a full 24 hour vet or she wasn’t going to make it. We called around to a few places and found Epic, and man as soon as we walked in the door there was a different feeling. A sense of calm. We checked her in and someone immediately came to see her. They asked us questions and took our kitty Marceline to the back. We waited a few minutes and were put in a room to wait and speak with the Dr. Once he came in; he came and automatically explained what she needed and asked If we had any questions or concerns. We explained the other vet said she wasn’t going to make it and it was a 50 / 50 chance of survival. And he immediately reassured and explained if we didn’t treat her then yes she wouldn’t make It but as long as she had the surgery her recovery rate is almost 100%. He said he was going to make sure that he was able to do the surgery before the night crew switched over and that they would give us a call when she’s going in and when she’s coming out. Now payment, I will say it was a high price but I would pay it again for the service that was provided and the quality. It’s not something that can be easily put out, but they had many options like care credit and other payment plans through other providers. After finalizing payment, we asked if we could see our kitty one more time before we left just in case.. and they were so happy to accommodate and took us back and let us see her. The vet technician asked if we had any other questions and she was so informative as well. After we left we did get a call when she went in for surgery and when she came out. And then we called later that night just to check how she was doing before bed. And everyone was always so kind and compassionate with every person we spoke to. We were finally able to bring her home the next day and I will say I don’t think she even knows she’s recovering. I can not thank this team enough for what they did for my cat. They were compassionate, kind, truthful, and caring every step of the way. Any time we had questions or concerns even after they have been so great to work with! *kitty suit bought online*
