We've used Epic a few times now for emergencies. We've also used VCA. I will now drive instantly to Epic. The staff are so much nicer and you don't have to wait forever to be seen. I also just learned that if you pet has to go back in for the same issue within 24 hours you don't have to pay the appointment fee. If you have to go back with the week, I believe, the appointment fee is 1/2. My regular vet doesn't even do that so it's a very thoughtful thing to do.
