First off, I was thrilled to find Epic open on New Year’s Day especially since I was relatively confident that my 11 yr old Pom had dislocated his hip. From my initial phone call, the tone was set, as they were super friendly and welcoming. I arrived and filled out my intake paperwork, where everything was explained to me upfront & then Marcus took us back for Simba’s intake. He was kind & polite & made sure to ask about Simba’s vaccine/medical history & he promised to take good care of my baby as he took him to see the Veterinarian. Even though it was an acute visit, I felt like my Simba would be well cared for. Now onto the Dr. Christoff Saaiman- He was an absolute dream! He was extremely patient (even though there were several other animals there and it was clear he was very busy) he took the time to explain all my options to me & he was considerate and thorough with Simba’s care. He explained the rationale behind every recommendation he made before doing it, ensuring I was comfortable with each step of his care plan. He even offered follow-on advice to me to ensure the best possible outcome. Suffice it to say, I am now wondering if they also offer routine Veterinary care because as much as I love my current Vet, I would be very confident bringing any of my babies back here for care.

Facility always clean & people are friendly. First time at this location, Levi’s vet tech is Marcus, is kind & gentle, and explains the process of getting Levi’s care (vitals, & examination). Wait time can be 30 minutes to an hour? Update was just delivered by Marcus, they should examine him in about 10 to 15 minutes. Just received information about Levi’s condition, has a neck disc disease (genetic) resolve by surgery ($15,000.00) or strong pain meds & no running or jumping (in his kennel) for 6 weeks. Not something I want to look forward to at this stage of my or Levi’s Life. We are deciding to try the pain meds & keeping him quiet for six weeks. Praying this works for our little Levi! We've had to bring our pups here several times in the last year or so for after-hours emergencies or when our regular vet couldn't see us. The staff is always helpful and honest about both prognosis/treatment and wait times. Most recently, Marcus (tech) and Dr. Saaiman took great care of one of our pups, exceeding expectations with the expected wait time for eval, then thoroughly explaining the indications for the treatment plan. Bringing a pet to the emergency vet is never ideal, but having both peace of mind and confidence in the care they will receive certainly helps.
